How does humidity-sensitive single-flow CMV work?

This product is made by following these 4 steps: Humidity detection: Humidity sensors are installed in damp areas of the home (such as bathrooms, kitchens and toilets). These sensors detect the level of humidity in the air. They are generally found in air extraction vents. Airflow regulation: Depending on the humidity level detected, the humidity-sensitive CMV adjusts the extract airflow. If humidity is high, the air flow rate is increased to extract more humid air. If humidity is low, air flow is reduced, thus saving energy. Fresh air intake: While the humid air is being extracted, fresh air is introduced into the main rooms of the house (such as the living room and bedrooms) via air inlets, usually located on windows with humidity sensitive air inlets. Air circulation: Introduced fresh air moves naturally towards damp rooms, where it absorbs humidity before being extracted again. This creates a continuous cycle of air renewal.

What are the different types of humidity-sensitive CMV?

There are three main types of humidity sensitive CMV (Controlled Mechanical Ventilation): Type A humidity-sensitive CMV: This ventilation system features extract units that adapt to air humidity. However, air inlets are only sensitive to air pressure and cannot adjust ventilation according to humidity: they are therefore self-regulating. This type of CMV is preferred for homes that already benefit from good, low-pollution natural ventilation, tertiary sector premises or multi-family housing undergoing renovation. Type B humidity-sensitive CMV: This type of CMV has both humidity-sensitive extract units and humidity-sensitive air inlets. They can vary the airflow entering the home according to the humidity in the room. This means more precise humidity control, finer ventilation regulation and lower heat loss. This type of CMV tends to be installed in new or recent homes. Hygroregulable double-flow CMV: This system uses stale air to heat incoming air, saving on heating costs. Stale air is expelled to the outside and replaced by fresh air, but the heat it contains is recovered and re-injected into the incoming air.

How to install a humidity-sensitive single-flow CMV?
