Discover a selection of Eaton surge protectors designed to protect low-voltage systems against transient overvoltages. Installed in the electrical panel, these surge protection devices—also known as spds—help divert currents associated with indirect lightning strikes and spikes caused by grid operations. Their use is recommended in buildings equipped with sensitive electronic devices, in areas prone to thunderstorms, where overhead power lines are present, or when uninterrupted service is required. Low-voltage surge arresters are governed by the IEC/EN 61643-11 standard.
